We’re delighted to share that Moorgate Finance has been named ‘Asset and Leasing Finance Broker of the Year (4+ Brokers)’ at this year’s NACFB Commercial Broker Awards. It’s great recognition for the work our team continues to put in and a real marker of how far we have come in the past ten years.
The event, held at Emirates Old Trafford in Manchester, brought together more than 580 industry guests and celebrated the very best in commercial finance. With a 22% increase in award entries and 25% more NACFB member firms than before, competition was tougher than ever. With such strong competition, winning our category is a huge achievement and recognition of the hard work and commitment shown by our entire team.
It was also a proud moment to see other parts of Moorgate represented. Our Sales Manager, Connor Huntley, was shortlisted for the Rising Star category, an award celebrating outstanding talent and to spotlight the next generation of industry leaders. While he didn’t take the trophy this time, the nomination alone reflects the talent, and potential Connor brings to Moorgate and the wider industry.
The Moorgate Broker Network was also a finalist for Commercial Broker Network of the Year, a category recognising AR networks and their unique role of supporting broker success. Being recognised within this category is an achievement in itself and shows the strides the Moorgate Broker Network is making in giving brokers the tools and support they need to grow.
Beyond the awards, the day carried another important topic. The chosen charity partner was The Unbeatable Eva Foundation; a charity committed to funding medical research into DIPG and providing children diagnosed with DIPG with gifts and experiences. The charities founder, Paul Slapa shared his incredibly inspiring story about his daughter Eva and the important work the charity does, a profoundly moving moment for everyone present.
