£60,000 Funded for Sports Car Finance
The Challenge
This business had already approached their main bank to secure funding. However, that route came with a series of hurdles. It would have increased his credit line, required a second charge on personal property, and added an extra ILA cost. On top of these barriers, the bank’s funding process involved lengthy terms, meaning there would be significant delay before the cash was released to the business.
The Solution
We secured £60,000 of competitive car finance, enabling the business to purchase the vehicle- which was the first of its kind in the UK. The funding was structured as a 60-month hire-purchase, allowing them to spread the cost over time and maintain healthy cash flow. Not only were we able to beat the rate offered by their main bank, but we also offered them an extended term, reducing their monthly payments.
Going The Extra Mile: Race Car Finance in Spain
The Challenge
One of our long-standing customers were on the hunt for a BMW Race Car for the Endurance Cup. The big challenge was that the one they located was in Spain, and they needed full payment before releasing the vehicle to the UK. In order for payment to be completed, a member of the Moorgate sales team had to make a 24 hour round trip to carry out an in-person asset inspection.
The Solution
After a quick trip to Madrid to view the vehicle, payment was made in full, and the race car was transported to the UK. Our broad lending panel meant we could cater to an international payment and make sure the deal was completed without delay. We secured £62,000 for the race car as a hire purchase over a 60-month term which allowed the client to secure another driver for the 2025 season and continue to keep the car running in the championship for the next 5 years.
