£142,000 Funded for a Mercedes Sprinter Minibus
The Challenge
This deal was for a valued long-term customer of Moorgate, and we have successfully completed over seven previous deals with them. This time they required a 3.7% flat rate on a brand-new Mercedes Sprinter minibus, in order for them to fulfil a new contract they had won. This meant the business required a quick turnaround and the decision to be made extremely quickly with payout turnaround for the new registration plates in March.
The Solution
We successfully secured £142,000 in funding, structured as a hire purchase over a 72-month term. Within just 24 hours, we arranged the requested terms, gaining swift approval and ensuring the deal was invoiced and ready for payout upon registration. Not only did Moorgate Finance meet the customer’s strict timelines, but we also outperformed another broker by offering more competitive rates.

The Challenge
This was a fast growing recovery company. Alongside that, new insurance and roadside assistance companies he’d partnered with meant the business now needed multiple 3.5 tonne vehicles to support business requirements. The needs of the new partnership were crucial to business development.
When we first spoke to this customer, they unfortunately had poor adverse credit that, to make things more complicated, he was unaware of.
The Solution
We managed to secure not one, but multiple acceptances, for multiple vehicles and the customer has continued to experience rapid business growth. We also managed to help them clear their adverse credit and create a credit score that has grown ever since. Skip forward 12 months from when we first met this customer and we’ve now helped to finance 3x 3.5 tonne vehicles as well as a 12 tonne crew cab recovery truck.
