Hear from some of our staff...
Katie Gilding, Assistant Finance and Operations Manager.
Katie began her journey at Moorgate Finance as an apprentice. After just 9 months, she advanced to the role of Finance Support Administrator, which she championed for around a year. Her hard work paid off, and she was soon promoted to Senior Finance Support Administrator, a role she held for a year and a half.
Recently, Katie was ready for a new challenge and transitioned to a different department, becoming our exceptional Assistant Finance and Operations Manager. It’s been a busy and rewarding few years for Katie, and her impressive career growth is well-deserved!

Adam Olden, Senior Account Manager.
Adam began his career in finance after five years in the military. He came to us as a Trainee Account Manager and after four months, was promoted to an Account Manager. With the opportunity to develop his skills and knowledge further, this is where Adam’s understanding of the industry really began to grow.
After 12 months, Adam climbed the ranks again and was promoted to Senior Account Manager. As a team leader, Adam’s role is carefully balanced between his own tasks as an Account Manager, and giving as much support and advice to his team as possible.

Lauren Scotford, Credit Placement Manager
Lauren has been in the financial sector since leaving education. Her experience spans from personal banking to commercial finance. With a solid understanding of Asset Finance gained in a previous role, Lauren joined Moorgate Finance in September 2023, a move which gave her the opportunity to enhance her expertise and broaden her financial knowledge further.
Lauren’s everyday role involved evaluating customer credit profiles and delving into financial data to gain a comprehensive understanding of their financial health. She is then able to strategically place finance applications with the most suitable lenders.
Her biggest achievement was mastering the lending appetite and criteria of the 70+ lenders on the panel.
