With the Euro’s approaching, this London sports pub needed a full fit out to embrace the rush of football fans.
The Challenge
This business needed to fully kit out their pub with TV’s, furniture, CCTV, pool tables, dartboards and other fittings in time for the Euros. However, this doesn’t come without a large price tag, so they turned to Moorgate to help them with finance. The Euros were only two weeks away when this London sport pub came to us, meaning time also wasn’t on our side to get this deal across the line. They had also previously been declined after going to a bank for the funding.
The Solution
The fit out was essential for this pub to take advantage of how busy London would be during the Euros, so we were pleased to be able to finance £9,500 on a Hire Purchase Agreement over two years. The deal was also completed within four days of the initial enquiry, ensuring everything was in place before the games started. It allowed them to bring in a lot of business during the Euros due to the high footfall area and they have since established themselves as the go-to sports pub in the area, expecting high levels of business over the football season.
